Under the leadership of Party Committee of Shanxi Agricultural University，Department of Publicity & United Front of the Party Committee carries out the propaganda, ideological and cultural work of the whole university around its central task.

Its main responsibilities include: undertaking the overall planning, organization and implementation of publicity reports inside and outside the university and communicating with off-campus news media so as to timely and accurately publicize and report the university’s major activities and achievements of reform and development; constructing and managing campus publicity platforms, e.g., network, newspaper, radio, official new media, publicity window and slogan; managing and guiding the student press corps; comprehensively promoting the construction of campus civilization, assisting in the construction of campus culture, and managing the University History Museum.
