She is a researcher of Institute of Industrial Crop, Shanxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences. In 1960 she graduated from Shanxi Agricultural College. She does research on millet breeding research. And she has cultivated 10 new varieties of millet including Excellent quality "Jingu 21".
